St Vincent’s Independent Living Units Refurbishment

Client: St Vincent’s Care Services
Location: Southport, QLD
Value: $80k per unit

The client brief was to open up the units to allow more light throughout the entire unit and modernise the interiors to suit incoming residents’ expectation. 

The ILU’s varied in configuration from 1bed, 1 bed plus study and 2 bed units. Works involved reconfiguring separate laundry/bathrooms to shared ensuites with laundries to allow for larger area overall, removing walls in kitchen areas to allow an open plan living dining area, adding timber joinery and glazing to allow light through out the units. 

The multiple projects were completed with in the operating RV and constant communication with staff and residents allowed to project to be completed on time on budget with minimal disruption to the surrounding residents.
